Have you heard the news about the changes at Mass? Take a few minutes to hear what updates we have regarding the COVID protocols at Mass effective June 17, 2021:
Dear Friends,
We have been informed that an individual who attended the 10:30 AM Mass on Sunday, December 20, 2020 and another who attended the 2:00 pm Mass on Thursday, December 24, 2020 have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). These individuals have sought and received appropriate medical care, and all close contacts are being identified and monitored in accordance with New York State Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance. Although the likelihood of you having been exposed to COVID-19 at this Mass at St. Mary’s, Crescent is low, this letter is being sent to inform you about the signs and symptoms of COVID-19.
The virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to spread from person to person, mainly through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. Spread is more likely when people are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).
We understand that this news can be unsettling and cause for concern. Please remember that the best plan for addressing the COVID-19 virus is to remain informed and follow the simple steps to help contain the spread of the virus:
People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms or combination of symptoms may have COVID-19:

Please be safe and be well this holiday season and into the New Year.
