Welcome to our New Food Pantry Coordinator:  Chris Brennan

St. Mary’s Church, Crescent is happy to announce the appointment of: Chris Brennan as the Food Pantry Coordinator effective immediately.  Chris will be coordinating our Food Pantry Ministers who deliver food to area food pantries every month.  If you are interested in assisting, give Chris Brennan a call by contacting the Parish Office.

Also, please remember we collect food items throughout the year…  Just place you food items in the Food Box located at the main entrance of the Church to the right of the Statue of Mary of the Expectation.

A meeting will be held on Sunday, January 4 at 9:30 am in the Parish Hall for all current volunteers and any new volunteers interested in helping with the food pantry deliveries.

Due to the increasing need, we have begun to expand the food pantry ministry to include two other local food pantries.  This will affect the delivery schedule we currently have.   Also, we want to discuss the possibility of doing a food drive in March to re-fill the food pantries after holiday supplies have been depleted.  Questions may be addressed to Jeanne Gracon or Mary Anne Cureau in the parish office at 371-9632.
