Blessed Are You!
These words spoken by Elizabeth to Mary in today’s Gospel are not just one time words.
These words, “Blessed Are You!” are meant for us, today and every day.
And maybe we need to ask every day, how is it that I am blessed?
And just maybe if we ask the question, we might well have the strength to endure the hardships of life and maybe even more important we will ensure that these blessings will not go unnoticed and unappreciated.
What a sad life it can be to be blessed and not know it.
May we thank God today and every day for at least one blessing of the many that come our way daily as person, family and Parish.
