No, St. Mary's is not taking any breaks this summer. God is never "closed." But we are certain some of you will take a vacation or two. If you have a positive experience of Church and would like to share it with us here, please drop us an email. Did you see a beautiful church or piece of Art? Send us a photo. Did you hear beautiful music? Did you have an experience that particularly connected with you? Share your story with us. We would love to hear the wonderful ways that the Holy Spirit is moving the Church in places beyond our own. Some of your stories will be included in our social media or bulletin.
Welcome Fr. Dan and Fr. Jim!
On behalf of Deacon Andy, the staff, and the entire parish community of St. Mary's Church, Crescent, we welcome you! We are very excited to have you, Fr. Dan, as our new pastor and you, Fr. Jim, as our new parochial vicar. We are praying for each of you and are eager to begin this new chapter in our parish together with you. We want you to know that you have our support in every way as you both begin your new ministry here.
A New ERA of parish life
Have you seen the messages about our new Faith Formation path starting this fall? It’s more than a new program—it’s a New Era of Parish Life! This shift moves us from a classroom model to a holistic, parish-wide journey of Growing In Faith Together (GIFT).
Why the change? Because faith isn’t a checklist—it’s a lifelong journey we’re meant to walk together.
Longtime parishioners might remember the GIFT program from 20 years ago. It was joyful, community-centered, and faith-filled—and we’re bringing it back, refreshed for today.
Flowers for Mary
Thank you to everyone who has brought flowers to adorn the statue of Mary. There are still opportunities to honor Our Lady with flowers. A sign up sheet remains on the table in the gathering area. Please consider joining in on this endeavor.
