Parish Life Coordinator
Andy Grebe
Deacon Andy and his wife have been parishioners at St. Mary’s since moving to the area from Long Island in November 2001. Ordained to the diaconate in May 2013, Deacon Andy was originally assigned to another parish and returned to St. Mary’s, his “home parish”, in August 2015 as Permanent Deacon. In February 2024 Deacon Andy was appointed as the Parish Life Coordinator.

Sacramental Minister

Father David is our parish's Sacramental Minister. He presides over most of the weekend Masses and funerals as well as assists with sacraments.

Fr. Thomas Hayes
Fr. Tom Hayes serves as Sacramental Minister at St. Mary's, Crescent. Before retiring from his role as Pastor at St. Thomas in Delmar, Fr. Tom served as Pastor at St. Mary's from 1999 - 2010.

Pastoral Associate for Pastoral Care
Jeanne Gracon
Jeanne Gracon joined the staff of St. Mary’s as Associate for Pastoral Care in July of 2012. Previously, she had taught for eight years and then worked as a Guidance Counselor at Bishop Maginn High School for eleven years and at Shaker High School for twenty-two years. In her role as Pastoral Care Associate, she coordinates the various pastoral care ministries which include visiting/bringing the Eucharist to the homebound and those in nursing homes, visiting local hospitals where parishioners are patients, being present to those in hospice care, assisting families with funeral liturgy planning, and serving as a resource for grieving families.

Faith Formation Director
Rachel Collet
Rachel joined our team as our Faith Formation Secretary in July of 2012. Since then she has been an invaluable part of the Faith Formation Team, becoming our Faith Formation Director in January of 2019. Before coming here, she was the Guidance Secretary at Waterford-Halfmoon High School. She grew up in Waterford, where she currently lives with her son, TJ. Rachel’s favorite hobbies include watching her beloved Dallas Cowboys and reading a good book!

Pastoral Associate for Outreach
Sarah Moreau
Sarah will be rejoining the team in a newly created role: Pastoral Associate for Young Families. She will be focusing on reaching out to our young families and helping them to connect with each other and with the parish during this crucial time in the life of a family: birth to pre-K. Sarah lives with her husband, David, and their two daughters Eva and Clara in Charlton.

Parish Secretary
Kim Parker
Kim and her family joined our parish in 2015. She joined our team as our Faith Formation Secretary in September of 2019 and in March of 2020 moved into the Parish Secretary role. She previously worked for Catholic Charities Disabilities Services for 10 years. Kim lives in Pleasantdale with her husband Rob and their three children. Kim enjoys concerts, shopping, traveling and days spent at Grafton Lake with her family.

Director of Music
Richard Putorti
Richard has a passion for music and liturgy. He has directed music for various parishes over his many years serving the church in liturgical music. His mission is to serve the faithful yet to seek the lost and to bring them home to the church. In particular his ministry reaches out to the youth as he directs our Music Ensemble at the 10:30 mass and as of Sept. 2021 is our Director of Music. In addition to his work at the parish, Richard serves as the Associate Director for Recruitment in the local chapter of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM). He founded Music and Liturgy and Pyramid Lake, a formational experience for Catholic Youth, and has music published with GIA Publications, Inc. (“Follow the Light”) and International Liturgy Publications (“Instruments of Christ”). Richard is a native of Rotterdam, NY and resides there with his wife, Loretta, and their two children, Richard, Jr. and Anna.

Maintenance
Mike Thomas
Mike Thomas is our head of maintenance, overseeing facilities management, custodial work and grounds keeping. Mike lives in Clifton Park and has a background in addictions counseling and also does work for senior citizens through Umbrella of the Capital District, Inc.. Mike loves listening to and playing music, specifically rock and blues.
